I feel like each pair of portals should be matching colors for this way of playing. The reason why the original had two distinct colors for the portals was incase the player needed to move a specific one. However, if all portals are permanent, each pair should have a unique color so that it doesn’t get too confusing.

i thought this was going to be a thing where you can just cancel your velocity at any time and save it for another time, so like you can get to 500 velocity and then stop in place, and then press a button to return the velocity in the same direction on demand. i think that would be cool... none the less, awesome video!

Heya! Not related to the video, but I just played a random Steam game that was in my feed I think you’d like! It was a puzzle-platforming game, and I beat it in like 2 or 3 hours with all of the achivements. It was really fun, and has an Overwhelmingly Positive 98% review on Steam from the few thousand who played it. I would tell you more about it, but I went in blind to everything but the thumbnail and the top review and loved it. The game is called Gravitas, it’s from like mid to late 2019, and I personally really enjoyed it, so I thought I’d pass it on! I know Portal is literally in your username, but surely you could use a different puzzle-platformer with charming character(s), whitty writing, and fun mechanics that have been done before but never this well-executed to play, right?

Portal 2, but you have construction and equipment. basically. soldering iron, a hammer, nails, and a screwdriver. you can remove testing elements out of walls, and you can solder and unsolder props to surfaces, and even break portalable surfaces with a hammer and move them.

i remember i discovered the big fat portal command while i was playing portal revolution with cheats on, and i totally softlocked myself cause it wouldnt change back lol
